Department of Psychology and Social Work, part of the Faculty of Physical Education, Biology , Psychology and Social Work. The department has ancient historical roots dating back to the beginning of the 19th century. The department is headed by associate professor, , Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Tetiana Novak.

Teachers of the Department of Psychology and Social Work focus on a complex scientific topic "Modern technologies and methods of psychological and pedagogical training of specialists in the educational sphere," the results of research are systematically discussed at conferences of various levels and published in professional publications.

Scientific and pedagogical members of the department are active participants in international and all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences. Geography of conference activities of teachers in recent years - Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Lutsk, Nizhyn, Rivne, Ternopil, Uman, Lviv, Chernivtsi. Under their leadership, applicants for education participate in international, all-Ukrainian conferences and seminars.

The department of Psychology and Social Work is the initiator of international conferences, all-Ukrainian scientific and methodological seminars, webinars, workshops,  round tables, professional Olympiads, the organizer of the work of student scientific circles. The department operates a training club, a scientific circle Universe Psyche - Universe Psyche "

Scientific and pedagogical workers, applicants for higher education, cooperate with institutions of general secondary education, in particular Kremenets gymnasium N 3.

The department cooperates with the center of professional development of pedagogical workers of the Kremenets city council, the public organization of the society of parents of children with disabilities and their friends "Dawn of Hope," the inclusive resource center of the Kremenets city council.

For the purpose of career guidance, meetings are held with students of institutions of general secondary education.

Active work of student youth is carried out by curators of groups, the content of which covers a diverse range of educational tasks and forms of their implementation.
