The project is funded under the Erasmus+ program and aims to integrate robotics into educational programs to improve the digital skills of future teachers in Ukraine. The main goal of the EduRob initiative is to bridge the gap in the use of educational robotics technologies between European Union countries and Ukraine, especially for the younger generation of Ukrainians.
The project involves cooperation between teachers from six Ukrainian higher education institutions and four European partners. The main tasks include introducing robotics skills into teacher training and promoting educational robots in the learning process. The involvement of partners from the EU will enable Ukrainian teachers to improve their technical, digital, and pedagogical skills through study trips, training sessions, and massive open online courses (MOOCs).
The project also provides for the purchase of necessary equipment, improvement of teachers' qualifications, and the creation of new academic disciplines and courses for students. This initiative will contribute to the development of digital skills among Ukrainian teachers and students. The participation of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in the EduRob project as a coordinator is an important step forward in the direction of digital transformation and innovation in education. Thanks to the project, the Academy will improve its material and technical base, raise the professional level of teachers, and help students adapt to the challenges of the modern digital world.
The success of the EduRob project confirms the high level of professionalism and competence of all its participants. The project opens up new opportunities for international cooperation and exchange of experience with leading European educational institutions. We are convinced that the implementation of this initiative will bring significant benefits not only to its participants, but also to the entire educational environment of Ukraine. EduRob will be a powerful impetus for the development of robotics in educational programs, contributing to the training of a new generation of highly qualified specialists in the field of education and technology.
