The article notes that sacred music is often considered a means of communication with spiritual realms and higher consciousness. The author notes that sacred music of the East and the West reflects the diverse cultural, philosophical and religious traditions of the respective regions, which leads to differences in styles and practices. The article presents the positions of the researcher and theosophist Еlena Blavatsky on sacred music in such works as "The Secret Doctrine", "Isis Revealed", and "The Key to Theosophy". It is noted that Н. Blavatsky repeatedly referred to Western music in her works, considering it as one of the aspects of the culture and spirituality of the West. It is also investigated that Н. Blavatsky considered Eastern church music to be a source of spiritual wisdom and support for the soul in its spiritual development. After all, this music has deep roots in the spiritual traditions and philosophy of the East, which are reflected in the melodies and rhythms.
