For more than two hundred years, our educational institution has existed in the form of a gymnasium, lyceum, seminary, teacher and pedagogical institutes, pedagogical school, pedagogical college, humanitarian and pedagogical institute, and in the past became a primary source for Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Volodymyr Hnatyuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University.
Today at the three faculties of the Kremenets Taras Shevchenko Regional Academy of Humanities and Pedagogy there are 10 departments, where scientific and pedagogical work is carried out by about one hundred and thirty highly qualified specialists. Almost two thousand full-time and part-time students master the profession of a teacher.
The academy prepares bachelors from 16, masters from eight specialties, and in the structural subdivision - the pedagogical college - junior specialists from five specialties. There is a postgraduate course in the specialty 011 Educational, pedagogical sciences for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
The successful implementation of research and educational tasks is facilitated by the educational material base: educational buildings, research laboratories, a library with a center of Internet resources, modern classrooms and lecture halls, training workshops, reading rooms, exhibition, choreographic, concert halls, museums, publishing center, sports complex, dormitories, modern dining room. All structural subdivisions of the academy are connected to the Internet; the software "Library"; functions;
broadcasts of the television center; the newspaper "Castle" is published. Opportunities and trends in the development of our academy, which successfully integrates into the European and world
scientific and educational space, are to strengthen its high status and stable position in the national market of educational services, coincide with trends and opportunities of socio-economic and spiritual-cultural development of the region, responds not only for educational needs of the region but also of the state as a whole.
